HerdLab Hydration Support is a horse electrolyte supplement designed to support normal electrolyte intake and hydration during exercise, hot weather, travel or periods of heavy sweating. The apple-flavoured formula provides sodium chloride and potassium chloride alongside dextrose, magnesium sulphate and calcium lactate, and can be mixed with either feed or water.

Feeding Guide
Add to feed or water each day. When adding to feed, make sure fresh water is available at all times. The daily amount can be split into several portions or given all at once. A 30 g scoop is enclosed.

To make an isotonic solution after heavy sweating, add 10 g per 5 litres of water for 1–3 days, with plain fresh water also available.

Can this replace veterinary treatment for dehydration?
No. Seek veterinary advice if clinical dehydration, illness or abnormal symptoms are suspected.
